We hold events to educate the community on local trends, best practices, and general information on substance abuse prevention.

"Written Off" Film Discussion

April 1, 2019

A free screening of the movie “Written Off”, a documentary focusing on one man’s opioid addiction, was shown at the Father Marquette Center in Montello. There were 40 participants and  Judge Bult and Sheriff Konrath facilitated small group discussions on substance abuse stigma, recovery, and prevention.

A free screening of the movie “Written Off”, a documentary focusing on one man’s opioid addiction, was shown at the Immanuel Lutheran Education Center in Westfield on July 31st. There were 65 participants and Judge Bult and Sheriff Konrath facilitated small group discussions on substance abuse stigma, recovery, and prevention.

Sharing Stories 

March 22, 2018

This event brought together community members and focused on the lived experiences of local residents in recovery. Prevention and efforts by HCHY were discussed. There were 80 participants.
