A grant-writing workshop series starts November 30 in Montello.
You can learn how to write grants for community, health or family programs. The three-night series starts Wednesday, November 30, continues on Wednesday, December 7 and ends on Wednesday, December 14. Each night's class will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Marquette County Department of Health and Human Services, 428 Underwood Avenue, Montello. Instructors are Sue Allen, UW-Extension Family Living Educator; Tiffany Lodholz, Parent Information Exchange; and Whitni Kral, Healthy Communities Healthy Youth.
Come one or more nights – each night the content is different. November 30 features an overview of grant writing, developing community partnerships, and researching sources of grants. December 6 features the many elements of writing the funding proposal and writing tips. December 14 will focus on budgets and evaluation, with time to discuss other aspects of grant-writing.
