Alive & Well

Alive and Well is a grant received by HCHY to work to reduce alcohol related motor vehicle crash injuries and fatalities in Marquette County. HCHY received this grant because Marquette County had the highest number of crash fatalities in 2004 and 2005 in Wisconsin.

The grant is a 3 year process that is funded through state funds obtained from the federal government. There are 4 other counties in Wisconsin that are working on the same issue – Burnett, Washburn, Sawyer and Crawford. Marquette County is in the last year of the grant and funding ends September 2012.
